Harnesses - susannebark

Choking,  spinal and trachea injuries might occur if a dog is constantly yanking, pulling or fighting the leash.

Unlike a leash attached to the collar at the neck, a leash attached to a traditional body harness connects to a hook on the dog’s back between their shoulders.

When your dog is comfortably wearing a harness they are less likely to pull. In conjunction with leash training your dog can learn to walk in a more relaxed manner with you.

The two harness designs I prefer are listed below.

Callicoma Kelpies

They have a very comfortable Y front tracking harness which has a back attachment. This harness can be used for walking or even in the car.

Callicoma Kelpies are based in Grafton. Ring or email Mandy.
